About Pequitas

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. They say polka dots are always in style. That's great news since I'm covered in dots!!!! I've got grey dots, black dots and I even have dots all over my cute, little pink belly. I think that's where I got my name 'Pequitas'. My Foster Mommy says that means 'little Freckles' in Spanish. Even my whole face is covered in those dots. I'm a true fashionista, and will be the cutest accessory for my future family. But enough about my strikingly cute, extremely vogue looks. I'm the sweetest girl, and I love to play with the 2 silly foster pups and 3 big dogs in my foster home. We even have cats here. They're fun to run and play with too! Foster Mommy tells me she's fostered lots of puppies. She praises me and says I'm one of the smartest, most obedient pups she's ever met. I'm really good at listening, watching my surroundings and figuring things out. I'm getting good at house training too. I think all these polka dots, aka little freckles, make me super intuitive. I'm quick to spot (haha, no pun intended) when my Foster Mommy needs some snuggles. I can go from running, rolling and playing, to snuggling in her lap in no time flat. Won't you come meet me? I'm really perfect and will be the sweetest, most loving dog for my new family or adopter. Polka dots and snuggling never go out of style! See? We'll be perfect together, forever. Pequitas is a female Cattle dog mix with an estimated DOB 6/25/18. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
