About Sadie Blue

Introducing Sweet Sadie Blue! Sadie is a 2 year old AKC Registered 55-pound Chocolate Lab, who was recently surrendered to us as a result of a human death in her family. With a lot of love, her family decided that she deserved a new family who could give her plenty of time and attention she needed. Even with her heartbreak, she is still a sweet, fun-loving, kissing, trusting and enthusiastic little lady and she's looking for a new human (or humans) to love forever. Sadie is high energy and loves to retrieve! She loves to play fetch and will do so with an enthusiasm that makes any lab lover smile. Sadie does require work on basic obedience training, she is very smart, driven, ball motivated so we feel as if she will be a fast learner. She gets along with most dogs and not trustworthy around cats. We hope to find a family for Sadie that will commit to following through with her obedience training and be confident, patient and consistent with her as she grows in her strengths. Ideally her new family would be active to give her the physical stimulation she will need to stay balanced. Sadie loves small children and even calms when in their presence, but we feel older kids may be best for Miss Sadie since she is still so high energy and has a boastfulness for life! Sadie is good in a crate, completely vetted; spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. We're working on her house training, but she is catching on quickly :) Fenced-in yard is a must.
