About Rosie

This is Rosie. She is under a year old and is a Border Collie mix. She was surrendered to the shelter due to her high energy and the fact that she appears to be a 'one person dog'. We haven't witnessed any aggressive behavior from her but she will growl or bark at strangers when in her kennel. Outside the kennel she is just a bundle of energy. She is housebroken and we were told she has been through an obedience training course (not sure she passed it but we will see over time). She needs a steady and firm hand with hopefully a very busy individual that runs, works livestock or is just constantly busy. Her prior owner complained that they could never get her to sleep all night - her energy level was too high. Of course, part of that is 'puppy' but an active lifestyle should help that a lot.
