About Poppy

Adoption Fee: $100
Bengal
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

I need to find a calmer home for my beautiful and sweet Snow Lynx Bengal, Poppy. Poppy is 4 years old; I adopted her when she was two and am her second owner. Poppy is naturally shy, but very gentle and loves to sit next to me (or on my lap) when I am reading at night. The problem is that my young son is on the autism spectrum and Poppy gets thoroughly stressed out about how unpredictable and loud he can be. She is naturally shy and this is just making her miserable. I would love for her to go to a home without young children. The previous owner had dogs and another cat, so she is used to them, but I don't know how much she likes them. I do know that she and my house rabbit LOVE each other. They play tag, snuggle, and groom each other; it's adorable. This is not a deal-breaker, but I would love to find someone who is willing to take both animals as a bonded pair. Poppy is healthy, but needs a special diet or she will get crystals in her urine and digestive problems. She eats Royal Canin GI food, High Energy formula, exclusively. I buy dry and wet food from my vet. I have a large just-opened bag of dry food and a case of canned food that I will give to her new owner. Poppy is a purebred snow lynx Bengal. Her first owner got her from a breeder. She is about 8 pounds, small for a Bengal. She loves to climb and jump up high. The photo doesn't show her beautiful markings very well and she has lovely big blue eyes. Everyone who sees her says she is the most beautiful cat they have ever seen. She is spayed, current on all vaccines (I just took her to the vet on 9/8), and has always been an indoor cat. If you can give her a loving and reasonably calm home, please contact me.
