About Beeb

Adoption Fee: $400.00
Bengal
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

This is a very difficult situation for me, I am looking for a home for my purebred Bengal cat, Nala. She really goes by Beeb. She is around seven years old, and she is the best cat you have ever met. She is a purebred rosetted Bengal. I recently moved, and have been working a lot more, with irregular hours, and a long commute, and I really just feel I am not able to give Beeb the love and attention she deserves. I feel she gets anxious when I am gone (as often happens) from 9:00am to 11:00pm at night, and come home just to sleep, with very little time for love and play. She hasn't had a ton of experience with other animals, from what I have seen, she's not the biggest fan of other cats and she doesn't like kids very much. Ideally I'd like her in a home with no other pets and with people who are home a lot for interaction, but larger dogs are a possibility. After warming up to adults, she is just the most curious, sweet, attentive cat you've ever met. She'll talk to you with little chirps, and always wants to be around you, watching what you are doing. If you sit down to read a book there is a good chance she'll lay in your lap. She's only ever been an indoor cat, she doesn't have the rabies shot as it can be fatal to Bengals. Shes loves her cat tree, likes being up high. She does have some separation anxiety if it really odd hours or for long trips, and she can sometimes get a little twitchy if she gets super excited. As a kitten I trained her to walk on leash, but due to living in the city recently, and a dislike of cars, she hasn't been out on leash much for a few years. She's very intelligent and loves to play. As a kitten I trained her to sit, lay down, and roll over on command. She's very calm for nail trimming and grooming and doesn't mind being bathed. She will probably be nervous and might hide for the first while that she is living with you, she seems to be more comfortable with women than men, especially at first. I have litter box, carrying case, grooming items, shampoo, mats, cat trees, toys, treats, and a stockpile of food/cat litter/litter liners etc. I try to use food that is high end, without grains, and litter without toxins and scents to keep her happy and healthy. I filter her water with a regular water filter. I will miss her a ridiculous amount. She is the best, most beautiful cat I have ever met, I just want to her to be happy and feel I can't provide enough love and attention for her. I feel someone who is home more would be ideal. A person with a regular schedule, or even better, someone who is retired. My parents would love to take her, she's the only cat my dad has ever liked (she's never had an accident or purposefully peed on anything), but they travel for months at a time and during this time it would be the same issue. My email is attached, I had all of her paperwork, I thought, in my file box. I will try to find it. She is purebred and I paid $2000.00 for her when I bought her.
