We do our best to screen these dogs, but make no guarantees regarding the information posted.** Name: Tess Age: 5 years, 65 pounds Sex: Female (confirmed spayed) Breed: Brittish Black Labrador Location: Toronto, ON Vet Info: Tess is confirmed spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is next due for her rabies vaccine 11/30/2020, for the distemper/parvo vaccine 11/1/19, and for the lepto vaccine 11/30/18. She was heartworm tested this year and is confirmed heartworm negative. Tess has degenerative retina disease and cataracts. She is microchipped. Owner Info: Tess is an indoor dog with run of the house. She knows the commands, 'sit, down, shake a paw, wait and come'. She has had obedience training. She is an outgoing girl that is good with men, women and children of all ages. She is good with both male and female dogs. Tess has never been exposed to cats so owners are unsure of how she would react to them. Tess has never shown any aggression to any person or animal. She used to bark on occasion at new items (ie. wheelchair, stroller, bike etc) but since she has been blind, not at all. Tess has gone to other houses on occasion and has managed her way around though very tentatively. Most often she will just lie peacefully. She moves cautiously, but is still, 'happy and friendly with an incredible personality.' She loves everyone is gentle, kind and loving.
