About Scooby

Scooby was found by some good samaritans on the side of the road in rural Tennessee with a badly injured back leg. They knew he needed help and so they loaded him up and took him to the vet for close examination Observing that this injury was an old and healed injury the vet determined that it was an older break and it would do more damage to operate than to let it heal on it's own. He has healed up nicely and walks with only a slight limp when he first gets up in the morning (kind of most of us humans do J ), but he runs and plays and it never seems to bother him/ Scooby is a handsome young Lab mix this is about 2 years old, 55 lbs and is a very sweet, extremely affectionate boy. He is smart and learns extremely fast. Scooby is everyone's friend and so he gets along with other dogs with only one consideration of being a bit bossy at meal time with other dogs. He seems to get along better with the girls than the guys. He has a very soft, short smooth coat and loves to be brushed and petted as he leans on you for more attention and petting. Scooby is a big cuddle bug and he thinks he is a Chihuahua as he loves to try and sit on you. He walks well on a leash and just loves to spend time with people. He would be excellent in most all family settings. He would require a yard to run in everyday. Ready for a new start and a new life today!
