About Calvin

READ BEFORE INQUIRING! Disclaimer: This pertains to ALL all huskies in general, not just Calvin -- Huskies are beautiful and charming, but are 1st and foremost working dogs. They were bred to work long-distance hauling and will ALWAYS be active. Please don't consider adopting a husky if you can't devote enough time in your day to rigorously exercise mentally stimulate him daily and brush him weekly. Calvin is a healthy, friendly and playful 10 MO. old handsome boy, who adores lots of loving attention. Calvin has had some previous pro. obedience training before joining our home (successfully house broken and potty trained), but IS still a big puppy who has a long way to go -- requiring continued, consistent and intense training. Do note that he is boisterous and recently has shown some territorial aggression that needs to be addressed -- which despite never having had an issue while in our care, this arises concern and we do NOT recommend homes with children and/or other animals until he's concretely advanced with obedience training. We love Calvin dearly and it breaks our heart to have to re-home him, but we don't have the means to provide for his needs. We want to find him a correct match who fully understand huskies, has the patience to work with him and can be his loving, forever home.
