About King Cooper

Hi all. I volunteer at Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society in Branson Missouri and have been fostering King Cooper since June. Many of you have seen the posts and the photos of this super sweet and well behaved 6-year old boy. He needs to go to a new forever home soon. He is totally housebroken, knows sit, stay, come, give paw and fetch and does not jump on people. He loves long walks, playing with his toys, running in the backyard chasing the smells of the animals. He is super loving and bonded with me immediately and took about a month to bond with my husband. But sadly we can't keep him. Because he is not super outgoing with strangers, he was overlooked when people came in to the Adoption Center to find a new pet. This is a common characteristic of Ridgebacks (he is a Ridgeback/Hound mix). We have a restriction on him that he can't go to a home with small animals and therefore many people who fell in love with him were disappointed since they have small animals at home. Please help this beautiful boy find a home!
