About Lettie

This beauty is 11 months old 37 lbs and was kept in a kennel near the woods since she was a tiny pup with zero human interaction. When we heard her story we had to rescue her from her terrible life and find her a new wonderful one. Lettie was understandably very shy and skittish when we first took her in. But after a few days boarding she started to wag her tail and come out of her shell. Her foster mom says, 'Lettie is the sweetest girl. She made an instant connection with my 10 year old daughter. She sleeps with her now and follows her around. Lettie fit right in with the other dogs and loves my cat. She plays and wags her tail all the time now. She's a little afraid when strangers come in and hides until she sees the other dogs getting love and then she joins the party. She loves chew toys, snuggling and soft blankets. One of Lettie's back legs had an old injury that healed but it doesn't slow her down a bit. She runs like a greyhound.' We had her leg x-rayed and checked out, got her spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and now she's ready to find her new life.
