About Duke

Duke is a beautiful low- to moderate-drive 5 year old neutered male Belgian Malinois. According to his foster mom, he's a very fast learner, and although he needs more work walking on leash, he is The Best she's had the pleasure to foster! Duke currently lives with multiple dogs of all ages, which is a new experience for him. While he can get rowdy at playtime, he also calms quickly when told to. His best buddy and mentor is his foster mom's Border Collie, who helped him learn the ins and outs of proper yard behavior and to respect the seniors. His indoor behavior is very good despite a few experiments with counter surfing. Duke is intelligent, loving -- and best of all -- ready for a family who's looking for a constant companion. Duke will do best with an individual or family experienced with one of the 3 Belgian Shepherd breeds and with children 12 years or older. Duke is in Southern Arizona. His adoption fee is $300.
