This female hound showed up at our place in Conway around August 17th. We took her in to look for an owner. She had no collar so we took her to our vet. She had no chip. We got her checked out and she had tape worms and appeared to be in heat cycle or early pregnancy. Otherwise healthy. We contacted Conway Animal Welfare and filed a report and put the word out on social media. Thus far no owner has contacted us. Tuesday after Labor Day we discovered she is in fact pregnant. We have a small place with an already elderly dog and the situation is not ideal for caring for puppies. I am contacting you guys from a list I received from the Conway Shelter. We are seeking a positive outcome for 'Daisy' (we now call her) and her future puppies. I have run a lost ad in the local paper as we continue to hope an owner might be looking, but we are loosing hope on that front. We want to find a caring home and environment for her and her puppies to come. Note: We do not know any breeding history on this dog. we have no history on her.
