About Lucy

Lucy is a big sweet darling of a dog. She is 51 pounds, about 9 years old, microchipped, and up to date on shots. She enjoys taking walks, playing with her tennis ball and rope, and following my cats around. She has had several altercations with other dogs, so a home with just cats would be perfect. She is wonderful with children and is happy to see every single person she meets. While she loves to play with someone, she is also good at occupying herself with her toys. She gets very anxious during loud storms and fireworks. Wearing her thunder jacket and sometimes taking a benedryl helps. Having someone with her helps the most. She was in her original home from 8 weeks old till a few months ago, when her owner had to give her up for personal reasons.
