About Penny

Penny is a loving, good tempered female wheaten terrier. She will be 5 years old January 2019. She is used to being around small children and does not have an aggressive bone in her body. She can sometimes be leery of other dogs until she gets to know them, and tends to be submissive. Penny has environmental and food allergies so I would only consider a potential owner that is familiar with the breed and has the time and finances to manage her health needs. She has no health concerns other than her allergies and is completely house trained and well behaved. She is not fixed but is meant to be a pet and not for breeding purposes. She has also lived her entire life as a house dog and is not to be kept outside away from the family. I love this dog dearly and am only considering rehoming, as I have just obtained my RN license and cannot give her the attention she needs while working 12 hour shifts.
