About Abigail (Abby)

7 year old female Lab. Housebroken, spayed, current on shots, currently on a heartworm prevention medication regimen - never had heartworm. She is very timid and shy. I am unknown how she is around small children as she was not raised with children but is fine when my granddaughter and her friends come over. She was raised with another female dog; however, the other dog is no longer around. When we go for walks, she doesn't bark at other animals or chase them or anything. I need to find her a home because she will not adapt to or make up with my current husband. She runs from him and just shakes all the time he is around. She has knocked me down and hurt herself trying to get away from him. He has never hurt her or yelled or hit or anything towards her. He has tried to make up with her, walk her, feed her, lay with her, pet her and she just runs from him. She does not do this with anyone else (male or female). She has darted out the door a couple times and ran away and I have had to go find her. I do not like seeing her like this and do not want her to get hurt. Please help me find her a good home soon. I do not want to take her to the shelter. Please please please.
