About Lady

This is Lady, one of the Extraordinarily Enchanting Eleven, a litter of 11 Rat Terrier mix pups born in June to a Rat Terrier mix mom and an unidentified dad. Lady is a little sweetheart and one of the smallest and quietest in the litter. This little girl just loves to be held by her foster parents, but she can become nervous and scared when taken away from the comfort and security of her littermates. She will need extra love and TLC when she moves to her new home. Lady has short legs and a corkscrew tail that seems to shake when she is happy. At 12 weeks old, Lady weighs 9 lbs. and will probably weigh around 20 to 25 lbs. as an adult. The Eleven were fortunate to have been born into foster care, where they could be loved and cared for by their mom and human foster parents. All of the pups are playful and get along with the adult dogs in their foster home, as well as any human visitors who drop by. They especially love getting attention from their human foster parents. Since they're all so young, they're just starting on house-training and are learning to use a training pad. Adopters should plan on continuing house-training, but since every one of these sweethearts is smart and alert, they should catch on quickly.
