Bailey is a high-needs 2-year-old dog who will need to go to an experienced adult home. He was kept crated in a garage, not socialized, and hit until he was 7 months old. Now he is a sweet, fun-loving dog who wants nothing more than to please his people once he gets to know them. Bailey is housebroken and has good house manners. He loves his toys and does play inside, but generally calms down if you don't engage him. He knows 'sit' and 'down' and usually comes when he's called, but could use some more work on obedience in general. On the leash, he pulls moderately with just one person walking him, but vigorously if there are multiple people present. Because of his history, Bailey is very fearful of people and new situations and has issues with aggression towards strangers. For this reason, he'll need to go to someone who has the time, energy, and experience to rehabilitate him. He's on trazodone for anxiety and it helps somewhat.
