About Lillian

Meet Lillian! She is a 3-4 yr old poodle mix that was confiscated due to neglect by a small shelter in rural Oklahoma. She is a spunky, fun loving little girl once she understands you are not going to hurt her. I am sure her owner was not always nice to her as she will crouch down if you raise your voice to scold her or even use a fly swapper around her. She is doing well on pottying outside most of the time but isn't fond of wet grass but will go if you are out with her. She is definitely crate trained and doesn't bark in her crate at all. She is good with people when she understands you are nice to her but you can tell she has been hit as she will still flinch. Only time and trust will take care of that. She gets along well with other dogs and would play with another, but does like to be center of your attention. I don't think she must have been and now wants to be! She is funny and can jump straight up when she is excited! She loves her food too! She is a great little dog that would make an excellent companion! Would do best with someone home a little more and not left along for long periods of time. We do not know exactly what breeds are in Lillian so we cannot say she is hypoallergenic.
