OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hey there, it's Holly again! I'm the cute puppy with the glamorous black shiny soft coat that you might catch licking her bowl even when it's empty, because gosh do I love food! I was stuck at the shelter for many months, scared and with a not-so-good looking future, but no more no more no more! Now that future is bright, warm, full, and gosh would adding a family to that list rock! I love food ALMOST as much as I love other hooomans! I love to go up to humans with wagging tails and wet kisses, and make delightful grunts to show them just how much their existence pleases me. I get along great with my foster dog sisters; one is tiny and fragile, and I am very careful with her, and the other is a wild card, so we chase each other all day long. Mama says I'm going to be a big big girl, but that's alright because it's a big big world! Don't you want a big cuddly puppy? Someone who will always be there and support you and eat your leftovers for you? I got ears like a bat, and I think I got some of that mighty shepard in my DNA because they get perkier each day, but the rest of me is definitely big goofy lovable black lab. I'm crate trained and working on that potty business everyday! Please check me out this weekend! I'll be the one looking for food- and a home! Holly is a Female Lab Mix that we estimate to be born around 5/25/2018. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
