About Joli

Joli is a beautiful and sweet girl, almost 15 months old. She is a medium-sized dog at 48 pounds. She is a mixed breed. She has the appearance of, and traits of, Border Collie and Shepherd, so she is double-listed on these breed's pages as a mix. I adopted her into my Pacific NW home from a small rescue in Texas when she was about 6 months old. She had been found on the street around 5 months of age. She loves people! I need to rehome her due to cat conflicts. To thrive, Joli needs to be in a home with no small animals, so no cats (does best with big, male dogs). She is not ready to be left to roam a home alone all day while the family is gone, as she gets into mischief, so someone who is home a lot is best, or someone willing to take her to doggy day care, or a large, securely fenced yard is also a possibility. She is crate trained and does well in a very large crate for four hours at a time when people are gone. She would be a GREAT jogging or walking partner! She's a herding dog so she also really enjoys mental and physical activities. Joli loves very small children like babies and toddlers, but has not been exposed to older children, so she would need to get used to them. She sleeps well throughout the night (on bed or in crate), eats well, and rides in car well. I have more to share and I also put some videos on a Youtube channel.
