About Nora

We fostered Nora, as a 'see if it works out deal'. The original owner didn't know how they would feel about re-homing her. After 6 months of having Nora I asked the original owner if they would like her back but they were not able. She is so incredibly sweet, she need to belong to a family who can give her the attention she seeks and deserves. We have one other German Shepard named Max and we feel that Nora can be aggressive toward him at time. She will do good in a home where she is the only dog and the family works with her and gives her attention. Older kids would do good, but I am uncertain about younger kids. She can get 'nippy' with her excitement. She has never bitten anyone but jumps on people really bad. She has so much anxiety being left alone. I cannot stress enough how important it is for her to have a home where she is the center of attention. She doesn't like other dogs getting attention, she can be rather forceful in getting her attention and that means she can be food aggressive around other dogs. She needs to be an only child. I am in the middle of uncoupling and moving and unfortunately I cannot take Nora. She loves attention, she loves to be brushed and is extremely smart. She is sooooo BEAUTIFUL and elegant. We have a huge back fenced in yard and she loves to run, run, run! So ideally, a farm, a large back yard or an active owner would be ideal. I feel like I have failed her because after 10 months my life has changed so much, and it is about to change even more. Nora needs and deserves love and attention. At the moment I can barely hold my own head above water and it is with a heavy heart to come to this decision. She has already been re-homed and fostered once. I want her to be happy.
