About Josie

Josie is a 3(ish) year old Bichon mix pup. We are not too sure if she is hypoallergenic, but does not seem to shed too much, if at all. Josie was found in rural Kansas. She was so matted the shelter staff thought she was a senior dog and was in terrible shape. Once they got her shaved, fed, and rested, they were able to do a true evaluation on her and the vet decided she was more likely around 3 years old. Her teeth look good and she is doing better and better every day! Josie has now been in foster care in CO for about 3 weeks and is ready to find her forever home. She gets along well with other dogs and people. She is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. She also has sperts of puppy behavior (playing with her foster momma's socks etc.) and as she becomes more comfortable her adorable antics continue to show. She seems to be potty trained and very well mannered. She loves to snuggle and quickly found her spot on her foster mommas bed with the rest of the dogs.
