About Stumpy

Meet Stumpy! 1.5 years old 20 lbs Doxy. Mix Stumpy is so sweet, he loves to cuddle and enjoys long walks. He does great walking with a harness. He loves being out side and is just as content snuggling up to watch a movie. He is a little timid at first but once he gets to know you he will be your best friend. He is good with dogs and kids. He wasn't bothered by the cats at the vet clinic. Stumpy comes when called and and enjoys his belly rubs!! We are working on potty training and is getting better every day. Working on crate training. He cries in the crate if alone but does good if he is near humans or another dog . He follows our dog around and is learning from him. He learned how to sit and listens when you tell him no. When he gets excited he will chew on whatever is closest to him. He enjoys chew toys and balls. He hasn't mastered fetch yet he just enjoys chasing the ball. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments.
