About Bo

Looking for a home with experienced owners for our active and smart boy, Bo! Bo is an adult dog who we adopted in 2014 from a rescue organization. He has a very strong ball drive, loves to ride in the car, gets along well with other dogs, loves to swim, and hike off leash. He is a great companion and loves familiar people. We are seeking to rehome him due to his protective nature of our home. Since the birth of our son, it has been very difficult to keep up with his training needs and to ensure that he is not put in an unfair position. He can be snappy toward people hr does not know especially if not properly introduced. On walks, he is fine passing by people and dogs, but does not like it when unknown people approach us when he is leashed. He is crate trained, knows obedience commands, picks up on new commands quickly and is not destructive within the home (no separation anxiety). As mentioned, we would love to see him go to an experienced home with no kids or older kids. He is great with my nieces and nephews ages 7-10.
