About Rico

This kitty is looking for a new forever home. Rescued from the streets as a feral kitten at 10 weeks, he's now been living as an indoor domestic cat for the past three years in a home with dogs and one other cat. Despite the owners best efforts, they have still not been able to integrate him well into the home. He has a lot of fear of the dogs - and increasing fears of his humans too - and spends most of his time under the best or nestled in his cat tree. After much consideration, his owners have decided to attempt to find him a new forever home where he might be able to have a better quality of life. He cannot be in a home with dogs. They believe he would be fine with other cats with the right person to help him transition smoothly. We'd like to find someone who has a lot of experience with cats and might even be a sort of 'cat whisperer'.
