About Dexer

Dexter is a playful 5-yr old cockapoo who has been with our family for years. He loves to go on hikes, play outside, and be with his humans. Dexter is protective of his family which can result in showing aggression toward others and can take time to warm up to new people and new dogs. He is great with kids and enjoys playing with his dog friends (once he gets to know them). He is house trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated. Since he is part cocker spaniel, he does get occasional ear infections but his low-protein diet has helped! Dexter would be a great fit for an experienced dog owner who has time to spend with him, has access to outdoor space, and ideally in a home vs. an apartment (he likes to bark). He loves being active and we, unfortunately, are not able to provide him with the quality time he deserves.
