About Herkamer

Herkamer is an 8 week old Border Collie mix. Herkamer was found, abandoned in TX, with his 8 brothers and sisters at only 4-5 weeks old. No matter how hard our volunteers searched and waited for the Momma, it seemed pretty clear that someone had just dumped them and kept the Mom. We were quickly able to get them into foster care where they were bottle fed and monitored very quickly. Almost 4 weeks have passed and these sweet furballs are ready to find their forever homes. Their pictures do not do them justice. They are incredibly fluffy and beyond adorable. All 9 are super friendly and have been raised on a farm since they were brought to our rescue. Because of that they get along great with all animals and all people. They have been incredibly well socialized and just have the best personalities. They also absolutely LOVE to play in the water and and run around with each other once soaking wet...it's a sight to see for sure! They do seem to be a different sizes, but we are pretty sure they will be about 40-50lbs when full grown, Except for the runt who may be only 25-35.
