Soul Dog Rescue has a dog ready for adoption! Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 1-year old, 40-lb spayed female black Lab/Heeler Mix rescued from a high-kill shelter in south Texas. She has a sweet personality and loves other dogs and all humans, adult and kid alike. She is housebroken and crate-trained and ready for her forever home. She would do well with another dog that loves to play. The $225 adoption fee includes the vet check, spay/neuter, microchip, and all shots received, as well as transportation fees to Denver that we were charged. All of our dogs are fostered by our fabulous volunteers. It takes a village. We always have a need for new foster homes and donations of harnesses, leashes, collars (especially Martingale collars!), food bowls, unopened bags of food, dog beds, toys, and treats. We buy our dog food from Costco and PetSmart, we can always use gift cards. Many of our dogs are rescued from the streets of San Antonio and were literally starving to death.
