My name is Rochelle and in all honesty I am not sure how to begin this message. My husband and I have been the proud parents to 3 beautiful dogs of whom we love deeply. After 6 years of trying we were finally able to conceive and are expecting twins in October. That being said, we are unsure if the hormonal changes on my part are caused tension among our dogs, but things have become quite shaken in our household. Our Fire Bell, who is a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois has had the most difficult time becoming adjusted and after 5 years of her being our Fire Bell, we have had to succumb to the fact that from this point forward she may not be in the best place for her or our twins. I write this with tears in my eyes feeling like I'm having to decide between my own selfishness of keeping her because how unwilling I am of letting my Fire Bell go, and the reality that this is in the best interest of her and her quality of life. At this time, I am at a loss as to what to do or where to go in order to find her a good home that will love her and show her the attention she so very much deserves. She is intelligent, beautiful, top of her training class and a great protector. At this time she has had difficulty interacting with our other 2 dogs, to include a black German Shepherd and Dutch Shepherd/American pit bull. All of our girls are rescued, as we adopted Fire Bell when she was 6 months old from the Animal Defense League here in San Antonio. If there is any advice you can give, where to refer us or know of anyone who is willing and wanting to embrace her as their own, we are here with open ears so desparate to find a place of peace for her and our family. Thank you in advance. Rochelle Mitchell Fire Bell 45lb Spayed Brindle Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd
