About Maisel

Meet Miss Maisel, affectionately called Weasel by our family. She was found astray and is looking for a lifelong family. Maisel is a wire haired brindle dachshund weighing 9 lbs and vet estimated at 3 yrs old. Maisel is a cuddle bug. Good with other dogs, also good with cats and respectful children. She loves to play with our 4 sons chasing them on the trampoline, playing tag in the house, or cuddling on the couch. Available for adoption to a home with older/understanding children as she is small and fragile. She would do fine as an only pet as well but does play well with other dogs. She bonds with her people and loves loves loves attention. She doesn't bark but rather sings to us with her little dog howl. She is NOT housetrained but we do work on crate training and have her crate trained now and she is showing progress with housetraining as well. Housetraining can not be guaranteed but we work on crate training with all residents. Securely fenced yard is required if a yard is present. Adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any other known medical needs.
