About Scamp

'Woof, woof!' barks Scamp. 'Pick me!' Scamp is one of the Extraordinarily Enchanting Eleven, a litter of 11 pups born in June to a Rat Terrier mix mom. They were fortunate to have been born into foster care, where they could be loved and cared for by their mom and human foster parents. Scamp is excited about finding his own humans to love and wants to be sure he's not overlooked, so he's the pup who is always jumping and barking to get your attention. He loves playing with the other puppies and the adult dogs in his home, his foster parents, and any human visitors to the home. Scamp loves his daily walks. He is easygoing as he walks on leash, occasionally stopping to roll around in the leaves. He is doing an excellent job with his house-training but isn't at mastery level yet, so his adopters should plan on continuing his house-training. Scamp will sleep through the night crated. At 5 months old, he weighs about 19 lbs., so he may grow up to be in the 25- to 30-lb. range. Overall Scamp is a lovable dog, who will want to play with you and snuggle up in your arms.
