About Jasper

Jasper is available for foster or adoption to a highly active, working, or performance home experienced with herding breeds. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Jasper is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County). Jasper is a high energy, high drive heeler we pulled from Highlands County Animal Services. He is a year old and 36 lbs. He needs a job, a fenced yard and plenty of exercise. He loves to play with basically any toy, especially the ball and disc. He is great at tracking and catching both. He loves water and playing tug. He is good with other dogs but will need canine companions tolerant of his herding behavior. He loves to chase and run with other dogs. At the end of the day he is finding his off switch and loves to cuddle up with his person. Jasper is housebroken, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm-free.
