About Riley

Riley is approximately 6 years old and weighs 16 pounds. We are guessing that he might be a long haired Dachshund/Papillon mix. He and another dog were brought to an animal shelter. The other dog was adopted but because Riley had hair loss from a minor skin condition he was overlooked. Not to worry we saw him there being as cute as can be and we rescued him. He was shy at first but quickly warmed up. He is being treated for his skin condition and is already greatly improved. His blood work showed low thyroid so he is on medication for that. Riley is good with other dogs and quite playful, so a home with another dog is preferred. Because he is not in a foster home we cannot say if he is house trained or not.
