Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Name: Audrey Sex: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Poodle (Standard) (medium coat) Weight: 40 lbs Height: est 23' at the shoulder Estimated Birthdate: 5/19/2012 Fence Needed: Yes Location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Adoption Fee:$429 Reason for being in rescue: Audrey was originally surrendered to CPR by a breeder in 2015. She was adopted, but returned in June 2018 due to challenges in her home. Special Needs: No other dogs, no cats..Audrey is a one animal kind of girl. She wants all your attention What kind of home would be best for me: Audrey is a high energy dog who needs lots of exercise. She does not do well with small dogs at all. She is also antsy around other dogs in general. Absolutely no cats. Audrey needs a home where she will be the only pet. She needs a home with an active lifestyle. She needs owners that have experience working with dogs and are committed to her training. What is my personality like: Audrey was originally released to us as an owner/breeder release in 2015. She was adopted in 2015 then recently returned in June of 2018 due to her trying to be the 'dominant' dog of the house hold and fighting with the other dogs as well as biting a person in the home. When the incident happened it was said that she was guarding the front door. This is something to be mindful of if you are interested in Audrey. Although, since Audrey has been back with us we have not noticed any behavioral issues towards people or dogs but know it could be a possibility when she is in her comfort zone of her own home. Audrey is a very energetic girl, she could run till the cows come home! Not only beauty but brains as well, this girl knows how to sit, come, and wait. She could use a little more leash training, she gets excited when being walked and likes to pull. Audrey loves toys, especially the kind with stuffing so she can find new ways to take them apart! When meeting new people she does bark, but once she realizes you're an okay human she is already introducing herself to you and asking for attention. Audrey loves to be the apple of someone's eye, but she knows she doesn't have to be the center of attention all of the time. She is okay with going off and doing her own thing as long as you are right there after she is done playing to give kisses to! Audrey will make a great dog for the right person that can understand her needs. How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly Tips and Tidbits: House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
