About Bowman

Bowman is a young dog, maybe 1 1/2 years. He was found in Mississippi with severe mange. He was brought to a vet where they kept him but caged him for 6-7 months because of his severe problem. Once he was well he went to a rescue group. He didn't do so well because he is deaf and didn't realize other dogs were barking at him. He did get into a few fights with other dogs. He actually loves other dogs but can not be around them due to his deafness, he just doesn't know when they are mad at him. Because of him being caged for months he thinks he is still a little pup and always wants to play. He is a very nice guy. The rescue couldn't keep him because of his fight with another dog and they were going to have to put him down so we adopted him. But the problem is we have other dogs here and he can't stay. We just wanted to save him from being put down. He is really a good dog but it's hard to train him being deaf. He need a home by himself with someone experienced with deaf dogs. Please help him if you can we don't know how much longer he will be able to stay here. He has been thru a lot in his short life and just wants someone to love him.
