About Candice

We adopted Candice from a kill shelter because her kill date was imminent. We have tried to make her a good fit for our family over the last month but it is not working out. She is a good dog but has some behavior issues. I think at some point she must have been abused because she does not like being left at all. She does well in a kennel, but hates going in it. We were told that she was housebroken. She does go outside but she also goes inside. She is not aggressive, but if you get down on the floor to play with her she does get play aggressive. She has never hurt any of us. I have five kids and she does great with all of them. We have taken her to the dog park multiple times and she has not had any issues with any of the dogs there. She does like to chew a lot, so we have to constantly have something for her to chew. She chews through bones and toys very quickly
