About Birdie

Meet Birdie. This sweet, mixed-breed, girl looks like a senior at first look. However, she is only about 1-2 years old. She is another stray found in poor condition. Her previous owner's lack of care for her caused skin issues that will easily be corrected with an antibiotic and a bit of prednisone. She is also on meds to help a current ear infection. Preventatives, a proper good quality diet, and a clean environment and Birdie will be on her way to better health. Birdie weighs about 30 pounds and is very medium in size. Birdie has been a young mother. She is very gentle, affectionate, and has a great personality. She is quiet, yet playful and friendly. She seems to be house trained and likely kennel trained. She does well with other dogs and would do fine with children who are gentle. We are unsure how Birdie does with cats. Birdie will need to complete her meds before she can be scheduled for her spay and other vetting. Upon adoption, Birdie will be spayed up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
