About Cayenne

Sweet Cayenne is looking for a home to crash whether it be for forever or just awhile. She was found as a stray and has skin issues that need to heal for a bit before she can be fully vetted. It's the typical thing we see all too often. Her previous owners never did flea preventatives, likely fed her cheap, poor quality food, and had her living in a poor environment. This leads to some minor infected skin with some patches of hair loss. It's easily treated with preventatives, an antibiotic and a bit of prednisone. Love, a clean environment, and better food usually does the trick as well! When she went missing, they also never came to claim her. Lucky for Cayenne, we will find a family she deserves. Cayenne is young and so sweet. We believe she is likely only about a year old and weighs about 40 pounds. She loves toys and if the toy cabinet is open, she will take the toys one by one and create a little nest out in the yard where she will sit and play for awhile. We also played with her in the wading pool and found out that she loves water. Cayenne is very friendly and seems to be good with other dogs. She would likely be good with children who are gentle. We are unsure how she does with cats. Cayenne will be spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped prior to adoption.
