Josh is a very sweet, shy, gentle, fun, and loving, two-year-old, 35-pound male Shepherd/Beagle-mix looking for a loving guardian. Josh was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky. He absolutely loves toys, and other dogs, and he will be best in a home with another dog to play with. Josh is housebroken and quiet in the home, but he still has some puppy chewing. Luckily, he feels very comfortable in his crate and retreats there as his safe place. He even likes to sleep in his crate. He may take a couple weeks to warm up to people, but he'll love other dogs right away. Because he is shy, Josh is best with older kids and adults. He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm and fecal-tested. Sadly, he tested positive for Lyme disease and Ehrlichia when he was first rescued two months ago. He has since recovered beautifully after treatment. Josh's adoption donation of $275 benefits the rescued pets of Pal's Place.
