About Buttercup

What's up Buttercup?? Well, lots of things for this guy. He ended up at a shelter when his family could not care for him anymore. Pretty confusing for a guy that is not old, but then again not a spring chicken. Buttercup is aorund 5 years old, for the most part a pretty mellow fellow. He has him moments when he love to run an play in the yard, but then he has more moments when he prefers his peace and quiet and his time with his person, or even relaxing alone. Buttercup is a laid back guy, does not need a lot of attention but does enjoy being loved on and appreciated now and then. He would be great for a person/couple without kids(he may not enjoy their activity) that is looking for a nice quiet companion that wants to share their space, not take it over but be a peaceful addition. He apparently was a little territorial in the past over a food bowl or treats so we recommend a dog savvy home. I personally do not take food or treat away from any dog-or person(!!!) but for the person interested in Buttercup we would prefer a savvy person that can understand some boundaries.
