About Cadie

ADOPTION PENDING: Cadie's story begins when she was pulled from a local hoarding situation with 78 other dogs. Cadie's original owner was trying to help, but he obviously could not care for 79 dogs. Cadie went first to the shelter where she received vaccinations and tested HW+. After a brief stay in the shelter, Cadie moved to her foster home where she has blossomed! She spent the first few days separate from the other animals, but she quickly adjusted to life with 3 cats and 2 Jack sisters. Cadie is roughly 5 years old, although she acts like a puppy, is fully vaccinated, she has been spayed and started on slow-kill HW treatment. She is working on walking on the leash in the back yard as she is still easily spooked by strange sights and sounds. She loves her foster humans and is enjoying being part of the pack. She tolerates the cats but is very curious why they look so different from her! She loves playing with her toys and rolling all over the bed. She can sleep in the crate or in the bed, but she prefers the bed because she is close to her foster humans! She is super sweet, and she will be a great companion dog for someone special. She does need extra attention when going outside and she is timid at first as is common with a dog hoarding situation.
