About Mina

Mina was a Roswell rescue as a puppy, we took her in at 3 weeks old. At 6 weeks she contracted the parvovirus and spent 24 hours at the vet and continued IV treatment at home to make a full recovery. I used to foster for local rescues when Mina was between 1 and 3 years old, she was attacked by several of these dogs and is now on the offensive with other dogs and is fear aggressive but this might be able to be trained out of her by someone who has more experience than myself. She is a huge cuddle bug and will sleep in your bed if you let her but she is kennel trained as well. She loves to play, ropes and anything with a squeaker in it are her favorite. She does sound 'mean' when playing but it's how she plays. She has never been aggressive or shown aggression tendencies towards people or children. We had to rehome her when she started attacking my other dogs to include one that grew up with her and was her best friend. She is a German pinscher and is full grown at about 30 pounds, she does have some scars due to the attacks. She is both house broke and piddle pad trained. She would make an amazing comfort/emotional service companion as she knows when you are upset and will come and bug you until you pet her. She gives 'hugs' and is easy with treats. We have to find her another new home as her new owners are moving out of state on Sunday and she is at risk of going to Roswell animal control which is a kill shelter and due to her issues with other dogs I think the anxiety will have her labeled unadoptable or aggressive. I can't bring her back to my home as I have moved and have no way to isolate her from my other dogs. If there is any rescue or person who could take her you would be saving her life!! She will be 4 years old on September 7th.
