About Rio

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Absolutely amazing loveable faithful Australian Cattle Dog;aka, Blue Healer. Rio just turned 1 yr old July 2018. He loves to run in the park and plays with other dogs. He likes not to be bullied or approached from them though and will run away if they do so. He likes to take it shyly slow. He has been raised in a smaller apartment setting and is house trained. He will us a training pad set out on a patio if time alone is too long between his walks or yard time. He loves to be pet, snuggled and tons of affection. VERY loyal and protecting, however yet, when approaching slowly and softly he does let others pet him. He loves playing fetch with his toys ( in the house). He gets a prime rib / beef bone everyday. He is allergic to pork bones. He does eat fresh boiled chicken breasts and boiled hamburger along with his Orajen hard food. He loves and is very good traveling and good ol car rides. He is up to date on all of his shots. He is micro-chipped. He has not been neutered yet. He just needs a human friend that can be home with him more often and give him attention that he deserves and not in an apartment long hours alone.
