About Jax

Jax is a 1 1/2 year old pit bull. He is full blooded but we didn't receive papers upon adopting him. We received him at 12 weeks old. He is a good dog with our family. Our children ages are 6 mo. - 13yrs. he is good with all of us, however, in July 2018 he started to be extra protective of our family. We are very social and have friends over quite a bit and we don't want any of them in danger if Jax decides to be a little 'extra protective' that day. We have to keep him on a chain because we live right next to the road and don't want him to get hit. He does act better when he is off the lead when we're outside with him. (Which is pretty often during good weather) He lounges in the garage with my husband and plays with our 4 children. Since July we haven't let him loose when we have company. He has never bit anyone. We just don't like him barking and acting aggressive. He needs a good home. Someone who isn't as social or who can take him with them places and make him more social would be a perfect match.
