About Barnaby

Meet Barnaby Introducing Barnaby! This boy is a presumed Catahoula mix and is about 1 year old and weighs 70lbs. Barnaby is social and has nice manners when meeting new people. He loves to play with toys, and enjoys playing with female dogs. Barnaby does not seem to do well with male dogs at this time. Barnaby came as a stray, so we're not sure his entire background, but it is clear that he is smart and has been worked with! He knows some commands loves to show them off. Barnaby may do best in an adult only home, as he does not enjoy sharing his food and can be protective of his resources from those who are lower to the ground. Available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter 1420 Brookside Blvd. Grants Pass, across from the Grants Pass Airport. 541 474-5458 When calling please press option 0. Hours open to the public 10 am - 4 pm. Up to date on shots, spayed or neutered and micro chipped. You are encouraged to make every effort to visit the shelter for a meet and greet. Staff available to assist. You can walk on the trails and interact in the play yards. Unless otherwise noted, we can not say if your dog does well with cats, livestock or chickens or with the dogs you may already have in your home or at dog parks. So please, if you have a dog, please arrange to bring for a meet and greet. Current vaccinations and micro chipped.
