About Sky

Lovely Sky is a beautiful sight to see in her gorgeous brindle coat. She's a lab mix who is just over year old and weighs 60 pounds, and she's as smart as they come. Sky knows sit, stay, come, place, wait, down, and OK (which releases her from sit). She's housetrained, crate trained, and she's mastering the leash walk. Sky went through basic puppy training at six months, and with her intelligence and eagerness to learn, she'd do very well with even more training. When she does have to be left she will go to her crate with a Kong and peanut butter. She's quiet in her crate. Sky is still young, so she will occasionally be a little mouthy in play and she does tend to chew if she is bored. She's generally quiet, although she will bark if she sees something outside or wants to play. Sky is a high energy dog and would be best suited with an active family. She does very, very well with children, even young ones. She has lived with cats, but she does chase them. She's had trouble with other dogs, so a home as a solo dog probably would suit her best. Sky will need regular exercise to keep her mind and body tired, but the gift of her canine companionship may prove to be well worth the effort. She's an affectionate, joyful, playful, sweet natured dog who loves to spend time with her family.
