About Rosetta

Rosetta has several meanings. In Arabic, 'Guide,' in Persian, 'Splendid,' and in Italian and French it means 'Little Rose.' How appropriate that this splendid little rose shares the name, Rosetta. Rosetta is a 55lb 5 year-old female Pit Bull mix. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Rosetta is gentle, quiet, affectionate, well behaved and eager to please. She responds to her name and she knows, 'Sit.' She is housetrained and walks well on leash. At first, she was crated, but now when her person is away, she is trusted with free roam of the house along with 5 other dogs. She is extremely good and non-destructive. Rosetta enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home-she makes happy little grumbling sounds to show it. Rosetta is also an 'expert-level snuggler,' described as, '[Rosetta] only wants love. She adores getting petted and kissed. Nothing makes her happier than climbing up on the couch next to me for snuggling. She is calm, easy, loving, and an all-around great dog!
