About Layla

This sweet girl's name is Layla! She is a female, spayed coonhound mix, estimated 9-10 months old and approx. 40 lbs. We took this pretty girl in after finding out she and her littermates came from a neglectful, dangerous situation. She loves other dogs, but will chase after cats (true to the hound in her). We believe she would flourish as a hunting/working dog due to her breed and energy level. She is very sweet but strong willed, so she will need someone who is patient and willing to train her. She is a puppy who will need to be trained by a seasoned hound handler who has worked with high drive dogs.
