About Pepper

Pepper is a 35 lb 2 year old female American pit bull Terrier mix. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Pepper is house-trained and crate-trained. She walks well on leash using a training collar and knows: Sit, Come and Let's Go! She is learning to 'wait' for her food and is doing really well with that. She also knows how to walk on a treadmill like a champ which helps on those late work nights to ensure that she gets her daily exercise. She enjoys spending time outdoors weather-permitting. And, when it's too rainy outside, she is content to play with her toys or cuddle with her person. She is a very sweet girl. She can be quite dominant, so will need to be the only pet in her home. Pepper has lived with older children and she greets new people in a very friendly manner. Pepper is affectionate, eager to please, joyful, playful and well-behaved. Sometimes, she's 'chill' Pepper and sometimes she's 'red-hot chili' Pepper. Chill Pepper appreciates lying in the warm spot from the sun, the comfort of pillows and affectionate snuggles on the couch with her person. Chili Pepper is a riot to watch. Give her a ball and she behaves like a cat, batting it about with her paws. But, it's the way she jumps up in the air with all four feet and spins around, that is most impressive.
