FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Adoption Fee: $50 Age: 6 Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Ted is a 6 year old short, squatty Pitbull who was surrendered to a local shelter 3 Yrs ago at 108 lbs by an elderly couple that were afraid they would trip over him!! He was adopted and has been living the dream in a loving home until very recently, but due to an unexpected emergency move out of state for his owner, Ted is now in a foster home with Fuzzy Pawz Rescue. His ideal home would be as an only dog or with another easy going dog and kids over 12. Ted can also share a home with a calm, confident felines. This lover boy needs a Walmart greeter tag because he loves meet and socialize! He waddles up to everyone to say hi; to say he loves people is an understatement! He gives big, sloppy dog kisses and, would thrive in a home where those are welcomed and encouraged. Ted is trustworthy in the house all day and knows a few commands such as sit and shake. His energy level is low but he enjoys his daily walks. He needs a home that will continue to assist him on his weight loss journey. You could call him a couch potato as he's easy going and loves to cuddle on the couch with his people. He's been a great apartment dog -no accidents or barking. Ted is on meds for environmental allergies and hyperthyroid. He has a guardian angel willing to continue paying for his meds. This sweet hippo weighs in at 88lbs but it's all love.
